This year, we are proud to announce our Pastor’s 50th Year in Ministry as he prepares to retire and our 118th Church Anniversary. Our theme is so worthy and appropriate in expressing our joy and silent tears: “Celebrating the Journey of the Past . . . Forging Towards the Future!”

We invite you to join in the celebration at a Formal Dinner Concert featuring the Emmy nominated Melvin Williams of the renowned “Williams Brothers” on Saturday, August 4, 2018 (Reception 5:30-6:30 p.m. Dinner at 6:45 p.m.) The event will be filled with a photo reception, dinner, silent auction and drawing. It is a great opportunity to meet others in the community who want to make a difference, while celebrating a long-dedicated journey in Kingdom Building. The site of the festivities will take place at the gorgeous St. John’s Cathedral located in the middle of downtown Jacksonville, 256 East Church Street.

On Sunday, August 5th we will continue the celebration at New Bethel through the worship experience at 10:30 a.m. The word will be delivered by Bishop Kenneth L. Hill, Administrative Bishop, Southern New England Church of God.

We are preparing a commemorative souvenir booklet (8-1/2 x 11). Greetings and well-wishers are as follows: Full Page - $100; ½ Page - $50; ¼ Page - $35 and the deadline to receive copy is July 1, 2018 by email newbethel@newbethelamec.com or by mail P. O. Box 41443 Jacksonville 32203.

You may purchase tickets ($75 each) by calling 904-353-1822 or by emailing newbethel@newbethelamec.com  or by web www.newbethelamec.com or by mail.

We truly hope to see you there and suggest that you purchase your ticket(s) early due to limited seating! Thanks in advance for your support and blessings always!
